Bright Eyes Daycare & Early Learning Center is located in Sioux Falls near 77th & Minnesota Ave, in the Garden Village Association development and is a few blocks east of Journey Elementary.
Since 2013, Bright Eyes has been providing the Sioux Falls area with exceptional quality child care while also preparing young minds for kindergarten through its preschool & pre-k programs. In addition to our age-appropriate classrooms, all ages have access to our cozy library, brightly lit & inspirational art room, as well as our music/movement room. Although structure is important, we feel it is also necessary for children to let loose and run wild, which is why we love playing outside in our large playground.
As a bonus, Bright Eyes is located in a private neighborhood with access to our own nature path. On this adventure trek, the kiddos often spot ducks, geese, frogs, fish, hawks, and even the occasional preying mantis :)
A child's early development years are vital to instilling a positive perspective towards learning. At Bright Eyes, our educational program is top-notch. We believe in giving thoughtful, personal attention to children while keeping parents informed of their child's daily activities and developmental progress. Our teachers create a positive and fun learning environment that builds confidence and an individualized sense of self.
Mandy & Nate are no strangers to child care. They developed their passion for early education while working at the University of South Dakota Vucurevich Children's Center in Vermillion, SD.
After completing her MBA from USD, Mandy pursued her passion for serving her community by overseeing fundraising events for the The National MS Society and later for the Sanford Children's Hospital. Following graduation (also from the U... go Yotes!) and employment as a National Director of Finance, Nate later decided to follow his entrepreneurial spirit by developing and launching a Sioux Falls community driven business for supporting locally owned restaurants and retailers.
Shortly after the arrival of their two children, Rheanna and Finnian, Mandy and Nate determined it was time to combine their personal and professional experiences, and their passion to provide children the structure and safe environment they have always wanted for their own children by creating Bright Eyes Daycare.
After 10 years of unwavering commitment, Mandy and Nate continue taking pride in being present every day in order to ensure their high standards of quality are being met and their vision uncompromised. This drive for providing quality & consistency is evident in the vow they both made prior to opening Bright Eyes, in that they would never exceed one location. In other words, the focus of Bright Eyes is (and will always be) "quality over quantity!"

"I love watching young children grow and learn through hands-on activities that lead them to explore, create, imagine and problem solve in all areas of their individual development"
~ Shelly ~
Outside of Bright Eyes, Shelly loves to read, spend time with friends and family, which includes her husband Dan and two boys, Nick and Chris.
It should go without saying that providing quality care and education for your child is our goal. However, the safety of your child is, above all, our first priority!
We believe in keeping things simple in order to minimize human error. Therefore, our center’s child drop-off and pick-up plan allows for only 1 point of entry and exit.
Our entry door remains locked 24/7 and is only accessible by teachers & parents. Once gaining access to the front office say "hi" to Mandy &/or Nate. They are here every day! After you have exchanged pleasantries with the owners, a biometric reading is needed in order to approve access to center's classrooms.
Our recently upgraded security cameras are here to capture & store video for employee training purposes and also in the event a parent has a concern that video might help alleviate.
When your family joins Bright Eyes, you become an important member of our family too. That is why, from day one, we have taken the subject of safety and security very seriously.
Bright Eyes does not offer part-time nor drop-in care.
Although rare, when an vacancy occurs, it can only be filled by a family on our waiting list.
However, if you are expecting and want to enroll or get your child on our waiting list, then please call to make arrangements.
As was emphasized on this page, we take pride in creating a safe and secure environment for our children, therefore we do not accept unscheduled visitors. In the case of a vacancy for which you are interested, only then will we schedule a tour with a family on our waiting list.
